Joseph S. Oxenryder, farmer, b. Clarion Co., son of Samuel Oxenryder and Mary Vasbinder, residing in Corsica, married Mary Ann Flick, dau. of Samuel Flick and Mary B. Turner, on 22 Dec. 1853 by Rev. C. P. Cummins in Sam Flick's home.

Lowry Gibson, farmer, b. Uniontown, son of William Gibson and Margaret McFadden, residing in Monroe Twp., Clarion Co., married Nancy Eliza Hindman, dau. of James Hindman and Rachael Christie, on 13 April 1854 by Rev. Chas. P. Cummins in Clarion Twp., Clarion Co.

James Orcutt, farmer, b. Charleston, Maine, son of David Orcutt and Phebe Engles, residing in Clarion Co., married Lavina Flick, dau. of Jacob Flick and Elizabeth Turner, on 2 May 1854 by Rev. C. P. Cummins at the Jacob Flick home.

Alexander R. Crooks, farmer, b. Clarion Co., son of Robert N. Crooks and Ann Shields, residing in Clarion Co., married Ann Jane Anderson, dau. of Samuel Anderson and Jane Smiley, on 22 June 1854 by Rev. C. P. Cummins in Brookville.

Robert Ramsey Richards, farmer, b. Kittanning, Armstrong Co., son of Robert Richards and Elizabeth McClellan, residing in Porter Twp., married Nancy Silvis, dau. of John Silvis and Elizabeth Coon, on 1 June 1854 in Porter Twp.
