Albums and Login are temporarily disabled. 08/29/2007 - We had some issues with the Clarion site this summer. Hackers have taken advantage of the login option where visitors could list their research interests. We've taken that segment off-line until we find a more-secure method for posting them. Also, we have had a problem migrating our albums to their new "home." Please bear with us as we attempt to resolve the technical issues and bring them back on-line. |

"Chronicling America" Free Newspapers On-Line |

The Library of Congress and the National Endowment for the Humanities today announced that "Chronicling America: Historic American Newspapers" is debuting with more than 226,000 pages of public-domain newspapers from California, Florida, Kentucky, New York, Utah, Virginia and the District of Columbia published between 1900 and 1910. The fully-searchable site is available at www.loc.gov/chroniclingamerica/
